Day 1:
Los Angeles. Welcome to the “Movie Capital of the World.” The remainder of the day is yours to start exploring or to just relax by your hotel’s pool.

Day 2:
Los Angeles. Two full days to explore the Los Angeles area. On your included 24-hour hop-on/hop-off DOUBLE-DECKER BUS tour, see the sites at your own pace, including Hollywood, Beverly Hills, downtown Los Angeles, and more—with unlimited hop-on/hop-off opportunities at more than 30 stops. See highlights such as Grauman’s Chinese Theater, the Farmers Market, Hollywood Walk of Fame, Rodeo Drive, Paramount Studios, Universal City, Olivera Street, the L.A. Live entertainment district, and more.

Note: On Day 2 or 3 of your vacation (Jan 2, 2012), you’ll be transferred from the Marriott Downtown Hotel to the Tournament of Roses Parade. You’ll enjoy RESERVED GRANDSTAND SEATS at the beginning of the parade route for prime viewing. See the spectacular floral floats, marching bands from around the world, and celebrities. After the parade, return to the Marriott Downtown Hotel and enjoy a CHAMPAGNE BRUNCH.

Day 3:
Los Angeles. Two full days to explore the Los Angeles area. Los Angeles-San Diego. Today, travel on AMTRAK’S PACIFIC SURFLINER along the beautiful California Coast to San Diego. Tonight, why not take a leisurely stroll through the historic Gaslamp Quarter or enjoy fabulous views from a waterfront restaurant?

Day 5:
San Diego. Two full days to take advantage of all the things to see and do in San Diego. Enjoy an included one-day hop-on/hop-off TROLLEY TOUR that visits sites in San Diego and Coronado. Stay on the trolley for the full 32-mile tour or hop off at various stops on the loop. Each stop offers a unique aspect of San Diego for you to explore. See San Diego Harbor, Balboa Park, Old Town Market, Hotel del Coronado, and the world-famous San Diego Zoo.

Day 6:
San Diego. Two full days to take advantage of all the things to see and do in San Diego. Enjoy an included one-day hop-on/hop-off TROLLEY TOUR that visits sites in San Diego and Coronado.
