Day 1:
Londond, England. Arrive in London. Balance of the day is at leisure.

Day 2:
London. Morning guided sightseeing and orientation takes you past the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben beside the River Thames, Westminster Abbey, Whitehall’s mounted horseguards, the Prime Minister’s Downing Street, and Piccadilly Circus. Visit ST. PAUL'S CATHEDRAL and see the Changing of the Guard (if held) at Buckingham Palace. Your sightseeing trip ends at your hotel before lunch, with plenty of time for further exploration. (B)

Day 3:
London. Full day at leisure. (B)

Day 4:
London-Paris, France. Morning transfer to the high-speed EUROSTAR TRAIN (upgrades to Standard Premier available); mid-afternoon arrival at your Paris hotel. (B)

Day 5:
Paris. Morning guided sightseeing and orientation takes you to famous Parisian landmarks: see the Latin Quarter, Napoléon’s Les Invalides, the Opéra, Place de la Concorde, Arc de Triomphe, which honors those who fought for France, and drive along the Champs-Elysées. Admire the rose windows and other splendors in NOTRE DAME CATHEDRAL. Take photos of the Eiffel Tower from one of the best panoramic viewing points. (B)

Day 6:
Paris. Full day to explore the “City of Light” at your own pace. (B)

Day 7:
Paris–Amsterdam, Holland. This morning, depart Paris by high-speed THALYS TRAIN (first-class) with mid-afternoon arrival in Amsterdam. (B)

Day 8:
Amsterdam. Morning guided sightseeing and orientation takes you on a CRUISE by glass-roofed launch through Amsterdam’s canals for the best views of houses built during Holland’s Golden Age. Admire Rembrandt’s masterpieces in the RIJKSMUSEUM; also visit a DIAMOND CENTER. (B)

Day 9:
Amsterdam. Full day at leisure to enjoy this thriving city. (B)

Amsterdam. Your vacation ends with breakfast this morning. (B)
