Globus Price Guarantee

All vacation prices are based on rates (reflecting foreign exchange rates) known at the time of publication and expected to be in effect at the time of departure, and do not include airfare except where noted. Vacation prices are per person, based on double occupancy. Single, triple, and quad room rates are listed where applicable. Not all accommodation types are available on all vacations.

Prices are subject to increase without notice, subject to the guarantees set forth below.

Once Monograms has received your full deposit for any land-only vacation in this brochure, that base land vacation price is guaranteed and you are protected against any base land price increase due to currency surcharge. Any subsequent cost increases are at our expense, not including energy cost increases and/or any government tax increases.

Air-inclusive vacations, and/or land-only vacations which include air between cities (internal air), listed in this brochure are guaranteed when Monograms has received your full land and air deposit. Monograms reserves the right to ticket passengers upon receipt of full land and air deposit and thus any subsequent changes made at your request are subject to airline imposed change fees and/or changes in airfare price, which are the responsibility of the passenger to pay. Air is only available to passengers traveling from the United States and only available when booked in conjunction with a land vacation.

Discount for Young Travelers

Share the pleasure of a Monograms vacation with your children and grandchildren and take advantage of the below discounts on the land-only price. The land vacation price does not include air between cities (internal air) when applicable. For eligibility, children must meet age requirements on the departure date and must be accompanied by an adult.

__________________________________________________________

Pay Less For Your 2nd Vacation

We charge you list price for your first vacation in the year, but for every additional Monograms vacation you take in the same year, you pay $35 under list. This discount does not apply if one of the vacations is a Monograms single city stay. Consecutive vacations can be booked with or without flights. Any flights between vacations cannot be reserved as part of the Monograms package.

__________________________________________________________

Triple & Quad Rooms

On most Monograms vacations you receive a reduced rate when three people travel together and share the same room. In North America you can receive a reduced rate when four people travel together and share the same room. These rates are listed separately in the Dates & Prices box on the itinerary pages, when applicable.

Note: Triple and quad rooms are usually no larger than twin rooms. For triple rooms, the third bed is often a rollaway put in a twin-bedded room for the night. Quad rooms can usually only accommodate one rollaway.

Sometimes Things Happen

On Vacation

Thanks to some of the most experienced, knowledgeable, friendly and efficient travel experts in the world you can leave the details and worrying to us. We set very high standards and dedicate a lot of time and effort to selecting and training our Local Hosts. No wonder our Local Hosts and employees are the best in the business. Our mission is to make each vacation you take with Monograms the best one you've ever taken.

Safety

You can rest assured that your safety is always the highest priority. When events around the world affect travel and tourism, we work to keep our travelers safe and comfortable. When necessary, we will modify itineraries or even cancel vacations to keep our travelers safe. Of course when vacations are canceled due to events beyond our control, we work hard to accommodate and satisfy the affected travelers.

Monograms provides not just one, but two financial plans for your peace of mind and protection; the $10 Million Customer Protection Plan and the $1 Million Dollar USTOA Travelers Assistance Plan

Travel Protection Plan

You're planning your annual vacation, or the vacation of a lifetime. Either way you don't want to think about canceling or interrupting your trip. Or getting sick. Or losing your luggage. We know these things happen so we provide travelers a Travel Protection Plan. The plan costs from $49-$279 per person (depending on the vacation destination and price) and offers a wide range of benefits. For details, please ask your travel consultant, see the details in your travel documents or follow the links below.

Please note that the Czech Republic now requires a minimum of $35,000 medical and repatriation insurance coverage. Our basic Travel Protection policy has a $25,000 limit, however will be increased to $50,000 while in the Czech Republic in order to meet Czech Republic requirements. There is no additional cost for this extra coverage. If you choose to purchase insurance independently, please know that you may be required by immigration to produce proof of coverage while traveling in the Czech Republic.

Travel Protection Plus

If you purchase the Travel Protection Plan, you may also purchase the optional Travel Protection Plus Plan at an additional cost of only $30.00 per person. This additional Benefit* (if purchased) allows you to cancel your vacation up to 24 hours (or the prior business day, whichever is farther out) before your scheduled departure for any reason not covered by the basic Travel Protection Plan provisions. Under this Travel Protection Plus Plan Benefit, Monograms will reimburse the cancellation penalty amount, as retained by the Globus family of brands, in travel certificates, minus the Travel Protection payment. Travel certificates are valid for travel within one year from the date of issue, but no later than 15 months from the date you cancel your trip.

*The Travel Protection Plus Plan is provided by Globus family of brands and is not an insurance benefit and must be purchased with the initial payment for your Trip.

$10 Million Customer Protection Plan

For your peace of mind Monograms provides not just one, but two financial plans for your protection-the $10 Million Consumer Protection Plan AND the USTOA Travelers Assistance Program. Monograms has provided a $10 million letter of credit issued by a leading bank to protect payments made by its customers for all vacation departures. This is in addition to the $1 million consumer protection plan maintained by the United States Tour Operators Association (USTOA), see below. In these uncertain times, Monograms feels it is important to assure our customers and our travel partners that we are financially secure and that we back our products 100%.

The $10 million letter of credit has been issued by Credit Suisse S.A. in favor of PRO-CLAIM INC., of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, acting as trustee of a trust for the benefit of Globus, Cosmos and Monograms customers who advance deposits or payments for any Globus or Cosmos tour departure sold in the United States. PRO-CLAIM, INC., as trustee of the trust, is responsible for refunding deposits or payments (excluding deposits or payments made by credit cards, since chargebacks are available), for Globus, Cosmos and Monograms tours sold in the United States in the event Group Voyagers Inc., d/b/a Globus, Cosmos and Monograms, becomes insolvent, bankrupt or ceases business.

$1 Million USTOA Travelers Assistance Program

Monograms, as an Active Member of USTOA, is required to post $1 Million with USTOA to be used to reimburse, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the USTOA Travelers Assistance Program, the advance payments of Monograms customers in the unlikely event of Monograms bankruptcy, insolvency or cessation of business. Further, you should understand that the $1 Million posted by Monograms may be sufficient to provide only a partial recovery of the advance payments received by Monograms. Complete details of the USTOA Travelers Assistance Program may be obtained by writing to USTOA at 275 Madison Avenue, Suite 2014, New York, New York 10016, or by e-mail to information@ustoa.com or by visiting their Web site at www.USTOA.com.

Why Purchase Travel Protection

This is a brief description of the plan available if you: 1) purchased the Travel Protection Plan November 1, 2009 or after; or 2) you purchased the Travel Protection Plan prior to November 1, 2009 for a departure in 2010 or later.

Under this Travel Protection Plus Plan Benefit, Monograms will reimburse the cancellation penalty amount in travel certificates, minus this plan cost. Independently arranged air is not covered.

Any benefit payable under this Travel Protection Plus Plan will be reduced by the amount of any cancellation benefits paid or payable by the Monograms Travel Protection Plan or any other insurance plan providing trip cancellation benefits.

The Travel Protection Plus Plan is provided by Monograms and is not an insurance benefit underwritten by United States Fire Insurance Company and must be purchased with your initial payment for your Trip.

If flight changes—including flight cancellations or name changes—are requested after full land and air deposit is received, revision fees, change fees, or airline cancellation fees will apply (see “Revision Fees” below). If an air-inclusive vacation is canceled after air tickets have been issued, refunds will be processed after air tickets are returned to Monograms. In many instances, airline revision or change fees can be up to $250 but in some instances may be up to 100% of the ticket price. Cancellation penalties will be quoted at time of cancellation.

Monograms reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any vacation departure for any reason. If a vacation is canceled prior to departure, Monograms' only responsibility will be to refund to the passenger the amount we have received for the reservation. We will try to rebook the same vacation with a different departure date, or a similar vacation. Where Monograms has confirmed flights, we will try to confirm air schedules for the selected new dates, subject to availability. Monograms cannot assume responsibility for any additional costs or any fees relating to the issuance and/or cancellation of air tickets or other travel arrangements not made through Monograms.

Revision Fees:

A fee of $30 per transaction will be charged for any alteration or revision made to a reservation. Airline penalties may also apply and may be up to 100% of the full ticketed price. Any revisions to a booking may result in the loss of a confirmed airline reservation or an increased airfare which will be payable by the passenger. A change of traveler name, vacation date, or itinerary within final payment will be treated as a full cancellation and new reservation; vacation cancellation fees (as above) apply.

Air Arrangements:

Monograms is not responsible if an airline cancels, reschedules, or delays a flight for any reason. If you miss your departure flight, it is your responsibility to work with the airline on which you are ticketed to reach your destination. Monograms is not responsible for any additional expenses you may incur prior to joining your trip. Monograms is not responsible for and will not provide any refund for portions of trips missed due to canceled, rescheduled, or delayed flights.

For air purchased through Monograms, if any air schedule requires an overnight stay in a gateway city, Monograms can assist you with hotel reservations; however, the cost of the overnight stay (including hotel and meals) are at your expense. Air routings are subject to availability. Routings are not guaranteed and are subject to change at any time.

If you make your own flight arrangements, Monograms will not be responsible for any loss resulting from cancellation or changes in international gateways or travel dates. We recommend that you do not purchase airline tickets with high penalty charges for changes.

Under the new Secure Flight Program enacted by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requires airlines to collect information from you for the purposes of watch list matching.  Providing this information to Monograms is voluntary; however, if it is not provided, you may be subject to additional screening or denied transport or authorization to enter a sterile area. TSA may share information you provide with law enforcement or intelligence agencies or others under its published system of records notice.  At time of booking air, Monograms will inquire if you would like to provide the required information to your air booking to pass to the airline(s) for the Secure Flight Program.  The information includes full name, date of birth, gender and redress number (if available).

Participation:

For the benefit of everyone on your vacation, Monograms reserves the right to accept or reject any vacation participant and to remove any participant whose conduct is deemed incompatible with the interests of the other participants. We will not refund nor cover any cost or expenses you incur if we have to terminate your vacation arrangements due to your unacceptable behavior.

Travelers Who Need Special Assistance on Monograms vacations:

You must report any disability requiring special attention while on vacation to Monograms at the time the reservation is made. Monograms will make reasonable attempts to accommodate the special needs of disabled travelers, but is not responsible in the event it is unable to do so nor is it responsible for any denial of services by air carriers, hotels, restaurants, or Suppliers. The Americans with Disabilities Act is only applicable within the United States and facilities for disabled individuals are limited outside its borders. Most transportation services, including the motorcoaches, are not equipped with wheelchair ramps. We regret that we cannot provide individual assistance to a vacation participant for walking, dining, getting on and off motorcoaches and other vehicles, or other personal needs. A qualified and physically able companion must accompany travelers who need such assistance and must assume full responsibility for their well being. With prior permission and waivers, we will attempt to accommodate motorized scooters on domestic vacations, depending on the suitability of the itinerary. The passenger assumes the full risk of use and of any prohibitions imposed by vendors. Motorized scooters are not typically suitable on international vacations.

Young Travelers:

Travelers who are less than 18 years old on the departure date must be accompanied by an adult throughout the duration of the vacation. There are no age restrictions on Monograms Independent Vacations with limited exceptions listed below. Land arrangements for infants under two are free of charge, providing parents pay hotels directly for special arrangements (e.g. food, crib, etc…) For any special requirements regarding airline tickets for children, contact your airline directly.

The following discounts apply to the land package for Young Travelers on Monograms vacations.

Monograms vacations in Europe, Single-City and Multi-City Getaways in North America:

Children 12-17 receive a 10% discount on the land vacation price; children 11 and under receive a 50% discount when sharing accommodations with two adults. The land vacation price does not include air between cities (internal air) when applicable.

On Monograms vacations in China and Asia, South America, Australia, New Zealand, North America Rail Getaways and Monograms Pre Post Cruise packages: Children 2-17 receive a 10% discount on the land vacation price. The land vacation price does not include air between cities (internal air), when applicable.

Monograms North America Driving Vacations & Hawaii Island Getaways:

The land package for children 2-11 is free when sharing accommodations with two adults. There is no discount for children 12 and over. The land vacation price does not include air between cities (internal air), when applicable, or sightseeing costs on Hawaii Island Getaways

On vacations that include a cruise on the Iberostar Grand Amazon (ISBA, ISLA):

Children under 15 are not allowed on board and there is no discount for young travelers.

Due to heightened security, many countries have adopted practices to prevent international abductions of children. If a child will be traveling with adults other than the parents or with only one parent, it is recommended that a notarized letter be written by the parents or non-traveling parent granting authorization to travel, including the dates of travel. We suggest that you also contact the appropriate consulate and airlines because they may have additional requirements or recommendations.

Smoking:

Smoking is not allowed on transportation that is exclusively provided by Monograms. On cruise ships, smoking is restricted to certain areas of the vessel.

Price Policy:

All vacation prices are based on rates (reflecting foreign exchange rates) known at the time of publication and expected to be in effect at the time of departure, and do not include airfare except where noted. Vacation prices are per person, based on double occupancy. Single, triple and quad room rate are listed where applicable. Not all accommodation types are available on all vacations. Prices are subject to increase without notice, subject to the guarantees set forth below.

Once Monograms has received your full deposit for any land-only vacation that base land vacation price is guaranteed and you are protected against any base land price increase due to currency surcharge. Any subsequent cost increases are at our expense, not including energy cost increases and/or any government tax increases.

Air-inclusive vacations, and/or land-only vacations that include air between cities (internal air) are guaranteed when Monograms has received your full land and air deposit. Monograms reserves the right to ticket passengers upon receipt of full land and air deposit and, thus, any subsequent changes made at your request are subject to airline-imposed change fees and/or changes in airfare price, which are the responsibility of the passenger to pay. Air is only available to passengers traveling from the United States and only available when booked in conjunction with a land vacation.

Vacation departures in 2011 are subject to price and itinerary modifications. Full details will be available in September 2010. Passengers have the right to cancel their reservation without penalty within 14 days of notification in the event of price increases due to itinerary modifications for 2011 departures.

Visas & Passports:

You are responsible for obtaining and paying for all visas and entry documents, for meeting all health and other requirements, and for any documents required by the laws, regulations, orders, and/or requirements of the countries you will visit. Non-U.S. citizens must consult with appropriate consulates to determine if any visas are needed and are responsible for obtaining all visas and entry documents independently. Monograms is not responsible for providing you with specific visa and passport information or documentation, and Monograms cannot accept liability for any passenger refused entry onto any transport or into any country due to failure of the passenger to carry correct documentation. All passengers traveling internationally are required to have a passport. Most countries require that the passport be valid for at least six (6) months beyond the conclusion of your trip. It is recommended you have a minimum of three blank pages in your passport when traveling, as many countries require blank pages. Multiple-entry visas are required for some vacations. It is your responsibility to verify all visa and passport requirements.

Accommodations:

The accommodations listed in the brochure or on the Web site are intended to be used on all departures; however, if a change becomes necessary for any reason, including additional departures on the same date and/or location changes, the accommodations substituted will be equivalent to those shown. Every effort is made to reserve only twin-bedded rooms. Occasionally, some hotels will only provide double-bedded rooms. These rooms will be allocated to couples. Please note that accommodation check-in times vary worldwide.

Private Bath & Single Rooms:

In exceptional cases where private baths or single rooms reserved by us are not available, refunds will be made by the Local Host. Claims made in this respect cannot be accepted after the vacation is completed.

Baggage Allowance:

Porterage for one suitcase is included in the vacation price. Airport/train station porterage is not included unless otherwise specified in your travel documents. Your single bag should have dimensions not exceeding 30"x21"x11" and weight not exceeding 50lbs (22kg). Some vacations have more restrictive regulations than these listed above. Please refer to your Travel Documents for more information. Your air carrier may have stricter weight/dimension limitations than those listed above.

Size and weight limitations for carry-on and checked baggage vary from airline to airline and even according to destination, and are becoming more restrictive. Some airlines are also charging fees for additional checked baggage in excess of one per passenger and these fees are not included in the vacation package. Please check with your airline(s) directly for baggage information and regulations. Monograms is not responsible for additional fees imposed by air carriers regarding baggage. Regulations within most airports require that travelers handle their own luggage through customs.

No responsibility is accepted for loss of or damage to baggage or any of the traveler’s belongings throughout the duration of the vacation. Baggage insurance is recommended. See our Web site for an all-inclusive Travel Protection Plan. Carry-on bags should not exceed the dimensions of 12"x11"x6". For safety reasons, wheeled carry-on bags are not suitable as hand luggage on motorcoaches and mini-buses. Carry-on bags must be small enough to store in overhead bins or under the seat in front of you on motorcoaches and other transportation.

Car Rental: These Terms & Conditions contain a summary of some of the rental conditions. For full, detailed conditions refer to the conditions schedule in the car rental agreement. To rent a car, drivers must be at least 25 years of age with a valid driver’s license. Collision Damage Waiver Fees are not included in the vacation price. You may ask them to be covered when picking up your vehicle; you will be responsible for paying waiver fees directly to the car rental supplier. Car rental Terms & Conditions are subject to change but usually do not include gasoline, tolls, ferries, additional insurance, taxes, infant seat charges, or surcharges for additional drivers. Rental days are calculated on a 24-hour basis. Early return of the vehicle does not entitle you to any refund of the unused portion of the rental. Fees associated with rental exceptions and/or late car returns are not covered in the vacation package.

Travel Documents: Passenger Travel Documents, including any paper airline tickets or e-ticket itineraries, are sent by regular ground delivery approximately 2-3 weeks prior to departure, provided full invoice payment has been received. If available, a service charge per reservation is added for documents requested in advance and/or for 2-day delivery. (see address under “Responsibility – Monograms Packages”). Though Monograms will forward all inquires on additional excursions and activities booking in conjunction with a Monograms vacation package, Monograms is not obligated to respond to any inquiries regarding Suppliers or the additional excursions or activities you may have purchased as set forth in the Terms & Conditions for Additional Excursions & Activities below.

Any complaint or claim involving the vacation services offered in this brochure or on the Web sites must be notified to Monograms within 30 days of the trip completion, except where such time limitations are prohibited by law. Safety: Please be aware that during your participation in vacations operated by Monograms, including additional excursions and activities purchased through or recommended by Monograms, certain risks and dangers may arise beyond our control, including but not limited to: the hazards of traveling in undeveloped areas; travel by boat, train, automobile, aircraft, or other means of transportation; the forces of nature; political unrest; acts of lawlessness or terrorism; and accident or illness in remote regions without means of rapid evacuation or medical facilities. Monograms will not have liability regarding provision of medical care or the adequacy of any care that may be rendered.

Photographs or Pictures: Photographs or pictures appearing on this Web site should be used solely as an indication of facilities and attractions. Actual facilities and attractions may vary according to itinerary. Maps shown on the vacation pages are current at the time of printing and may not reflect the actual vacation routing should the itinerary change.

Responsibility – Monograms Packages: Group Voyagers, Inc., located at 5301 South Federal Circle, Littleton, Colorado 80123, is a company licensed to market and distribute travel products under the Monograms brand name, and arrange for the vacation services offered in its brochure or on its Web site, including transportation, sightseeing, additional excursions and activities and accommodations through independent contracts.

The air carriers, accommodations, and other Suppliers (including but not limited to trains, cruises, ferries, motorcoaches, hotels, and restaurants) providing services are independent contractors and are not agents, employees, servants, or joint venturers of Monograms or its affiliates. All certificates and other travel documents for services issued by Monograms are subject to the Terms and Conditions specified by the Supplier, which are available upon request, and to the laws of the countries in which the services are supplied.

The international carriage of passengers is subject to international conventions and treaties, where applicable. These international agreements limit and, in some events, exclude the carrier’s liability to passengers (vacation participants). Where any claim or part of a claim (including those involving death or personal injury) concerns or involves any travel arrangements (including the process of getting on or off the transport concerned) provided by any air, sea, inland waterways, rail, or road carrier or any stay in a hotel, Monograms’ maximum liability is the maximum which would be payable by the carrier or the hotel keeper concerned under the applicable international convention, treaty, or regulation applicable to the travel arrangements or hotel stay (e.g., the Warsaw Convention, the Montréal Convention for international travel by air, the EU Regulation on Air Carrier Liability for air carriers with an operating license granted by an EU country, the Athens Convention for international travel by sea) in that situation.

After departure, if the services included in the vacation cannot be supplied or there are changes in an itinerary for reasons beyond the control of Monograms, Monograms will arrange for the provision of comparable services. Any resulting additional expense will be the responsibility of vacation participants, and any resulting savings will be refunded by Monograms to vacation participants.

Monograms reserves the right to accept or reject any person as a vacation participant; to expel any participant from the vacation; to make changes in the itinerary whenever Monograms deems it necessary for the comfort, convenience, or safety of the participants; and to cancel a vacation at any time. The vacation participant agrees that neither Monograms nor its affiliates shall be liable for any damage, loss (including personal injury, death, and property loss), or expense occasioned by any act or omission of any supplier providing services, any insurer or insurance administrator under the Travel Protection Plan, or any other person.

Any dispute between the vacation participant and Monograms directly or indirectly relating to the Terms & Conditions shall be first submitted to mediation at Denver, Colorado, before a mediator mutually agreed to by the parties. If mediation is not successful, the dispute must be resolved by binding arbitration under Colorado law before the Judicial Arbiter Group or its successor located at 1601 Blake Street, Denver, Colorado 80202 or its successor. The prevailing party shall be entitled to an award of costs and reasonable attorneys’ fees. Any action to enforce the arbitrator’s decision shall be brought in the state or federal courts in the State of Colorado.

Arbitration against Monograms must be commenced within one year following the date of trip completion. Neither Monograms nor any affiliate shall in any case be liable for other than compensatory damages, and you hereby waive any right to punitive damages.

No person, other than an authorized representative of Monograms by a document in writing, is authorized to vary, add, or waive any term or condition in its brochure or on its Web site, including any term or condition set forth in the preceding provisions.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ADDITIONAL EXCURSIONS AND ACTVITIES

Please Read Carefully:

In addition to the purchase of any travel services offered by Group Voyagers, Inc., doing business under the Monograms name (hereinafter “Monograms”), additional excursions and activities are offered for your convenience and can be added to your vacation easily and efficiently by Monograms. Though Monograms facilitates the purchase of these additional activities and excursions, they are sold and provided by local operators or other third parties that are entirely independent of Monograms (hereinafter “Supplier”). Monograms has no control nor right of control over the operations of these Suppliers. Your contract for additional excursions or activities will be between you and the Supplier of that particular activity or excursion you choose to purchase and not between you and Monograms. Monograms' limited involvement with your purchase of additional excursions or activities from Suppliers is set forth in these Terms and Conditions for Additional Excursions & Activities, as set forth below. Please read carefully and understand these Terms & Conditions for Additional Excursions & Activities before purchasing additional excursions or activities. Receipt of payment on any portion of your Monograms booking will be confirmation that you have reviewed, accepted and agreed to these Terms and Conditions for Additional Excursions & Activities.

Online Excursions and Activities:

Additional excursions and activities can be pre-purchased in conjunction with Monograms vacations only and are available for online purchase prior to your vacation. Online reservations can be made by visiting our Web site (www.Monogramstravel.com/login) up to 10 days prior to the commencement of services (i.e. start of the vacation). No online reservations can be made after that time; however, excursions and activities can be purchased while on vacation through your Local Host or the Supplier directly.

Deposit & Payment:

Once you make a booking online for Monograms which may include additional excursions and/or activities, you will be advised if your booking is confirmed. If we have confirmed your reservation, your Monograms package deposit will reserve your space on additional excursions and activities booked at the time of your Monograms vacation booking, with some limited exceptions as set forth below.

Final payment for additional excursions or activities booked at the time of your Monograms vacation package is due at the same time final payment is required for your Monograms package (see Deposit and Final Payment section of the Monograms Terms & Conditions above), except those noted below. If we do not receive final payment by the due date, Monograms reserves the right to cancel the reservations for any additional excursions and activities booked in conjunction with your Monograms package. Monograms is not responsible for canceled excursions or activities in the event final payment is not received by the due date. Only full payment can be applied to additional excursions and activities. Additional excursions and activities can be purchased at www.Monogramstravel.com/login up to 10 days prior to vacation start date. Additional excursions and activities selected after receipt of deposit for your Monograms vacation are payable in full at time of booking as these will be confirmed on a separate order number. Please see the Changes, Cancellations and Refunds policy below so you are aware of our policies prior to making a purchase. Only one credit card is accepted as payment for each excursion and activity order.

Exceptions to deposit and final payment:

    * Excursions listed as non-refundable: full payment is due at time of checkout. There are no refunds or exchanges for these excursions or activities once purchased.

Currency:

All rates are quoted in U.S. or Canadian Dollars (depending on your booking location) on the Monograms Web site. Prices are subject to change without notice for any reason including currency fluctuations. Once you have paid the full per person deposit for your Monograms booking, your excursion and/or activity price is guaranteed to not increase for those excursions and/or activities selected. Excursions and activities purchased while on vacation are typically sold in local currency, therefore pricing may vary from what is advertised on this Web site. If purchasing additional activities or excursions while on vacation, the current price will be provided at that time.

Changes, Cancellations and Refunds:

Changes and cancellations can be made by visiting our Web site. You are able to make changes to or cancel excursions or activities purchased online up to 10 days prior to the commencement of services, except non-refundable excursions or activities. There is no penalty or cancellation fee for making changes or cancellations to refundable additional excursion or activity purchases up to this time. A refund will be made immediately to the credit card that you used to pay for the excursion/activity. However, from nine days prior to the commencement of services forward, no cancellations can be accepted and therefore a 100% cancellation fee applies. Excursions listed as non-refundable in the description will incur 100% cancellation penalties for any revisions or cancellations. Any request for refund is subject to these Terms and Conditions for Additional Excursions & Activities.

The following are Not Included in the Excursion or Activity Price:

Tips to local guides and drivers; food or drink outside of the contracted menu as presented at the restaurant and/or noted in the excursion or activity description (these extra items will be billed to you before leaving the restaurant); heliport/security fees, and all other items of a personal nature.

Guides, Services and Transportation:

We do our best to engage the best Suppliers including guides and transportation. Guides will always be English speaking while drivers may sometimes speak only their native language. It is not always possible to engage air-conditioned coaches or vehicles although they are requested. Please do not leave anything behind while sightseeing (items such as wallets, cameras, coats and umbrellas). Monograms is not liable for any lost items or damage to any property that occurs while on an excursion or during an activity, for any reason whatsoever. Passengers who choose to leave during an excursion or activity for which transportation is included must thereafter provide for their own transportation and services at their own expense.

Participation:

Not all excursions and activities are suitable for everyone. Some excursions and activities involve physical activity including but not limited to walking significant distances, climbing a large number of stairs, etc. Please see the excursion/activity description for any information about physical activity required for participation. Only you can know your physical condition and limitations. If you have questions about your ability to participate, or have any disabilities that may limit your ability to participate, you should inquire in advance of booking whether an excursion or activity will be able to accommodate your needs.

Young Travelers:

Passengers under 18 years of age will not be able to participate in excursions or activities unless accompanied by an adult. Monograms does not provide any child watching services. Many excursions and activities offer discounted pricing to children under the age of 18. Please see each excursion’s/activity’s pricing for detail. Some excursions require participants to be a certain age to participate in all portions of the excursion (i.e. wine excursions). There are no refunds for those portions of the excursion in which the young traveler cannot participate. The price reflects participation.

Excursion and Activity Descriptions:

Although Monograms endeavors to provide accurate information on this Web site, mistakes may occur. Consequently, Monograms reserves the right to refuse or rescind any booking which Monograms concludes was made on the basis of erroneous or incorrect information. While every effort is made to give accurate descriptions of the excursions and activities, the actual routing (the order in which sites are visited), availability and timing may vary. If a change is necessary, Monograms will endeavor to notify you in advance by e-mail or on vacation through your Local Host.

Excursion and Activities Responsibility:

The air carriers, accommodations, and other Suppliers (including but not limited to trains, cruises, ferries, motorcoaches, hotels, and restaurants) providing additional activities and excursions that are available for booking prior to departure or purchased while on vacation, are not run supervised, or controlled in any way by Monograms. These services are provided by local operators or other third parties that are entirely independent of Monograms. Monograms has no control nor right of control over the operations of these Suppliers. Such activities and excursions do not form any part of the product or services sold to you by Monograms, even where Monograms suggests particular Suppliers and/or assists you in booking such activities or excursions. Your contract for such activity or excursion will be with the Supplier of that particular activity or excursion and will be subject to the Supplier's terms and conditions, which may contain exclusions or limitations of liability, and are subject to the laws of the countries in which the Supplier's services or goods are supplied or provided.

The Suppliers reserve the right to accept or reject any person as an excursion or activity participant; to expel any participant from the excursion or activity; to make changes in the itinerary whenever the Supplier deems it necessary for the comfort, convenience, or safety of the participants; and to cancel an excursion or activity at any time.

By using the Monograms Web site to purchase an excursion or activity from a Supplier, you agree that neither Monograms nor its affiliates shall be liable for any damage, loss (including personal injury, death, and property loss), or expense occasioned by any act or omission of any Supplier, any insurer or insurance administrator under the Travel Protection Plan, or any other person. Monograms has no liability for any such activity or excursion or for any act(s) or omission(s) of the Supplier for any of its employees or agents or any other person(s) connected with the activity or excursion. Any advice or assistance on or with any activity or excursion provided by any Monograms representative does not mean or imply that the activity or excursion is sold, supervised, or controlled by Monograms or that any such advice or assistance is given on behalf of Monograms. Vacation participants should not rely on any Monograms' representations regarding Suppliers or their activities or excursions and are advised to check with the Supplier of any activity or excursion and the applicable terms and conditions before booking.

How are Monograms vacations different from Globus?

Monograms are non-escorted, independent vacations. While you purchase hotel, sightseeing, breakfast, even air and transfers as a package, you will not be traveling with a group of people. You will have access to a Local Host rather than a Tour Director. Local Hosts are available to help you make the most of your vacation. They can give you information on how to navigate local transportation, where to dine to experience local cuisine or simply insider tips on what to do, but they will not be accompanying you as you explore on your own. You do have the opportunity to purchase optional excursions from your Local Host, in which case you will travel via motorcoach and be in the company of a group for the duration of the excursion.

What kind of transportation is available

Where is the train station anyway? And you'll need transportation to get you to your transportation. What if you're in Asia? You'll need a flight to get from Tokyo to Beijing. All of this sounds extremely time consuming with much room for error. But not with Monograms. When you buy a Monograms package, all intra city transportation is included in your package price, not only for a great value but for a lot less hassle while you are vacation. All aboard!!

For example in Europe you could travel from London to Paris on the Eurostar or in Canada on the Rocky Mountaineer.

    * Ships

There are vacations where you’ll travel by ship, including the Santa Cruz in the Galapagos Islands or on Pandaw Cruise Ships in China.

    * Intra-Vacation Flights

There will be times where the only way and fastest way to get to your next destination will be to fly. For example, we’ll arrange your flight from Hong Kong to Beijing or from Rio Janeiro to Buenos Aires. Monograms offers many vacations where flying from one city to another is the best mode of transportation.

    * Rental Cars

With our North America Driving Vacations, you can rent a car from us to see America’s National Parks, coast around Hawaii or explore British Columbia.

Experience the spectacular landscapes that connect North America’s most popular destinations with a Monograms On The Road Driving Vacation. Renting a car is one of the best ways to explore the beauty and diversity of North America. Below is a list of Hertz vehicles to help you find the perfect-sized car for your needs.

Breakfast is a buffet, full English, full Irish, full Scottish, or American (B)—the type of breakfast you’ll enjoy is listed on each itinerary page. In North America we do not include breakfast. Your Local Host can also assist in recommending local favorites or you can simply explore on your own!

Dining in Style

In general, lunches and dinners are not included in your Monograms vacation. In Europe, China, Asia, South Pacific, and South America your Local Host will have a number of suggestions for favorite nearby restaurants—after all, one of the best ways to learn about a foreign culture is to eat like the locals do! In North America, ask the concierge at your hotel for suggestions. On some travel days in remote regions, on cruises, and at some resorts we include lunches and dinners. Please check the meals section on the vacation page for a list.

Unlike an airline, we cannot process requests for special meals. While some hotels and restaurants may be able to provide for a special diet, such as vegetarian or salt-free food, there is no way for us to guarantee this. Special food usually costs extra. Please ask your Local Host for assistance.
